Duties of the Assistant Athletic Trainer include:
1.The role is responsible for providing daily medical coverage for Marshall University's women's soccer team. Additionally, this role is responsible for other duties and coverage responsibilities assigned by the Marshall University Head Athletic Trainer.
2.Responsibility for accurate record keeping, insurance billing and communicating with physicians, coaches, athletic trainers, and student athletic trainers.
3.Teaching responsibilities include clinical supervision of student athletic trainers.

Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Athletic Training.
BOC Certification required.
Experience
Two years of experience in intercollegiate athletic training or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
Education
Master's Degree in Athletic Training preferred.
Experience
CPR and First Aid Instructor certification preferred.
Two years of experience in intercollegiate athletic training or equivalent.
