Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Support.
The candidate would be expected to: coordinate, organize, and implement the FLIGHT Academy mentorship group by supporting student-athlete initial enrollment at the University, as well as providing resources for continuing eligibility and progress towards their degrees; exhibiting the highest professional standards and ethical behavior with adherence to NCAA, Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics rules and regulations; responsible for academic support to at-risk student-athletes, working primarily with football and basketball programs.
This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.

Assist in the management of the Student-Athlete Study Hall program, including oversight of the center, hiring and supervision of student workers, as well as the reporting of student-athlete progress, attendance, compliance with study hall requirements/hours.

Assist with the Department of Athletics Book distribution, collection and compliance with the University bookstore and Athletic Department Book policy.

Provide academic support and assistance for at-risk student-athletes attending the University, including being a liaison with the tutoring center, Disability Services Center; and developing individualized plans for success, eligibility, and graduation.

Support student-athletes with learning disabilities and orienting new student-athletes to the Disability Services Center's programs; assisting in screening evaluations and referrals for assessment of learning disabilities; offer learning strategies; and referring students to appropriate campus resources.

Responsible for academic support to at-risk student-athletes, working primarily with football and basketball programs. Communicate/report academic status of student-athletes with University staff, coaches, and faculty in the interest of NCAA and University eligibility/graduation compliance.

Assist with annual NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR), Graduation Success Rate (GSR), and University reporting.
