About This Role:
Assistant / Associate Professor: Health. Tenure Track. This position will effectively perform duties and responsibilities of the position. The duties and responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in : Public Health & Health Care Administration and teaching graduate courses in: Master's in Public Health; advise and mentor students; pursue a research agenda resulting in publications and extramural support; collaborate with both campus-based and field- based colleagues; provide service to the department, college, university and profession; Obtain graduate faculty status. This position is not remote. This position is based on campus at Lamar Univeristy in Beaumont, TX.

Minimum Qualifications
An earned doctorate in one of the following: Public Health/Health Promotion/Community Health/ or related Health area.* *ABD candidates will be considered if in the semester of defending/graduating upon application
The faculty member must have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship. Preference will be given to those applicants who have: prior teaching experience at the college level using both face-to-face traditional and online course delivery preferred; a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and evidence of scholarly activity as exemplified by published manuscripts and external funding is preferred; practical experience in health promotion, community health, health care administration, exercise programming for health and wellness, and experience with accredidation.
