The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine & Public Health is seeking a full time radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor on the CHS (Clinical Health Sciences) Track.

Principal Duties:

The candidate filling this position will be chosen for his or her expertise and interest in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention. The duties will be in the Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention Section and include image-guided injection/procedure service at the Clinical Sciences Center (CSC), Sports and Spine MR interpretation at CSC, coverage of ED diagnostic studies and inpatient and outpatient radiographs, ultrasound procedures at the Research Park Clinic, and general MSK radiology and procedures at The American Center (TAC). Clinical research and teaching are required.

Departmental teaching assignments include medical students, resident, fellow and other trainees as appropriate. Importantly, we seek someone with expertise and strong interest in musculoskeletal interventions to help expand the breadth and number of procedures that we offer; moreover, the qualified candidate will demonstrate competency in musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

MD Degree, board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Fellowship training in musculoskeletal required.

For appointment at associate professor or full professor rank for CHS track, candidates must meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to associate or full professor on the CHS track.

License or Certificate:

Wisconsin Medical License eligible
