We are seeking an Assistant Administrator to join the team at our Personal Care home in Bethlehem, PA location.

Position Details

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting staff in organizing and completing operational duties under the direction of the Adult Services Director and/or Regional Behavioral Health Director.

The Assistant Administrator will:

  • responsible for maintaining the Personal Care Home (PCH) licensure and assuring that the location meets all licensure requirements at all times.

  • be prepared to adapt to the diverse situations that may arise with the type of population being served in the PCH.

  • assist the Program Director in hiring, orientation and integration of new staff.

  • assist with the Program Director and Peer Specialist at the PCH in scheduling activities according to availability of transportation and during times where the maximum number of individuals may participate.

  • help the Program Director coordinate professional development activities and trainings/ conferences for staff.

  • help coordinate admissions of residents

  • participate in on-call duties as determined by program need and coordination of on call rotation with administrator

  • provide nurses with support and education for quality care

  • attend meetings as required

  • Other assigned tasks as designated by the Program Director.

Earn $24.00 / hour.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Valid PA Drivers Licensed required.

  • One year of experience in Mental/Behavioral Health preferred.

  • Prior Leadership experience is a plus!

  • One of the following qualifications must be met:

  • A Licensed Registered Nurse

  • Associate's degree

  • 60 credit hours from an accredited school (degree not required)

  • Licensed Practical Nurse

  • Licensed Personal Care Home Administrator from the Department of Human Services

  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday, 7am- 3 pm, with a rotating on-call for emergency issues and coverage needs
