Assistant Activity Director - Lemay Avenue Health & Rehab

Lemay Avenue Health & Rehab is located at 4824 South Lemay Avenue Fort Collins, Colorado and offers furnished private rooms designed to provide comfort for individuals requiring short-term rehabilitation following hospitalization or for long-term care, or end of life care/hospice care.

We are accepting applications for a Assistant Activity Director able to work:

• Full Time

• Monday through Friday

• 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

Compensation

• Starting wage between $16.50/hour - $17.50/hour (depending on experience)

Assistant Activity Director

• The Assistant Activity Director is supervised by the Activity Director and assists in planning and executing an activity program designed to assist the individual resident to reestablish and maintain his/her own lifestyle

• The Assistant Activity Director is responsible for directly aiding the Activity Director in tasks, such as charting, computer work, and supervising Activity Assistants

• Manages for the Activities Director when he/she is not available

Assistant Activity Director Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent

• Activities Certification by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals or a willingness to attend classes to meet this goal within one year of employment

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Experience in a geriatric setting and working with seniors afflicted with Dementia is preferred
