Assistant Activity Director Responsibilities:As an assistant activity director, you will assist your activity director with the implementation of activity initiatives for residents at your nursing home.You will assist with scheduling events that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional health.You will provide consistent supervision of activity aides, their duties, documentation and work habits.You will help all your residents engage in a meaningful way that promotes well-being and social cohesion.Requirements:Assistant Activity Director Qualifications:Experience in nursing home activities, required.Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.Valid and current activity director certification.Excellent empathetic and interpersonal skills.keywords: assistant activity director, assistant recreation director, skilled nursing facility
