Accountant Global Firm, Japan/USA $70-85k/y Global Manufacturer is urgently seeking for the Assistant Accounting Manager or Sr.

Accountant position for their Torrance, CA HQ Office Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minimum 3 years' related work experience Bilingual in English and Japanese is a huge plus, but not required. Financial analytical assistance and oversight to accounting functions Prepare consolidation package for financial reporting Reconciliation of sub-Ledgers and general Ledger account balances for Inventory, A/R, A/P, etc.

Quarterly audits/review if any and annual audits including SOX. Prepare reports on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis including support in the preparation of consolidation package Strong written, verbal and listening skills. Proficiency in PC skills especially Excel & software, Sage500 is a big plus.
