Job Summary
The Asset Specialist oversees, organizes, and curates a diverse range of powerful visual assets that bring CRVA brands to life. The Asset Specialist is also in charge of creating efficiencies in the workflow of internal projects related to video, photography, collateral, and publications.
A. Essential Job Duties
Works with photographers and videographers to produce assets that support advertising campaigns, brand-related projects, websites, and other identified CRVA needs.
Oversee asset management systems to collect, curate, and catalog photography and video assets; tracks permissions and rights associated with all; continuously organize and streamline for teammate ease of use.
Reviews and approves estimates, vendor billing, and monitors project budgets related to photography, video, content generation, and overarching marketing/communications budget.
Organizes photography and video shoots with third parties by providing shot lists, talent direction, and additional detail to guide the completion of multi-purpose, on-brand assets.
Collaborates with brand and communications managers to prioritize deliverables related to campaigns, projects, and events for photography and video.
Build strong relationships with Partners in Tourism and community stakeholders when scheduling and organizing shoots or researching locations for content inclusion.
Performs other duties as assigned to support the CRVA Marketing/Communications team.

Supervisory Responsibility
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Self-motivated and fervent work ethic.
Experience with data asset management systems, project management systems and photo/video software.
Able to perform and excel within an integrated, fast-paced team environment.
Photography and videography shoot experience required.
Ability to manage and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Demonstrated ability to work productively with counterparts in a cross-functional capacity.
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Understands differences between print, digital, social, promotional, and other forms of storytelling.
Understanding of basic project management and customer service principles.
Ability to take and provide constructive feedback.
Ability to maintain composure and clarity of thought and purpose when confronted with highly stressful situation; ability to effectively analyze and identify problems and create a resolution.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Experience with Photoshop and post-production, including basic photo editing, retouching, and file management preferred.
Extensive contacts with local, regional and national third-party content generation vendors required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, take direction and give direction.
Education and Experience
Minimum of BS/BA/BBA required; 3-5 years of relevant job experience marketing asset management, or a related field.
Proficiency with digital asset management tools and software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with copyright and intellectual property laws.
Physical Demands
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
