Job Description

Position Purpose:

The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store/multiple stores. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store. Other responsibilities include: preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting your apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement and testifying in criminal and civil court actions. The Asset Protection Specialist must report any hazardous or unsafe condition to the Manager on Duty and carry out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. They must demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates and remain focused on store specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.

VIEW JOBS 7/14/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-10-12T00:00 <p>This temporary position will be responsible for creating courses, assisting with course metadata and catalog change requests, and maintaining course catalogs in all necessary platforms and school locations. The Assignment will be eligible for benefits.</p><p>Core Tasks and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Create course containers for upcoming content development projects and school requests;</p></li><li><p>Adjust course metadata and course catalogs based on internal and school requests;</p></li><li><p>Ensure the accuracy of course metadata and course catalogs;</p></li><li><p>Work with various departments to manage and maintain course metadata and course catalogs;</p></li><li><p>Effectively manage various tasks and deadlines on a daily basis;</p></li><li><p>Provide subject matter expertise to other department teams for various course management efforts;</p></li><li><p>Communicate with others in a professional and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport. This includes the ability to problem-solve, be diplomatic and tactful, demonstrate appropriate behavior in social situations and maintain composure in negative circumstances in order to achieve results;</p></li><li><p>Manage the work efforts to train staff members on the use of educational-related or department-specific tools. This includes the ability to present information in a logical manner and check for understanding to ensure transfer of knowledge and skills and;</p></li><li><p>Other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p>Prefered Skills:</p><ul><li><p>Degree, certification, or relevant professional experience in education, education technology, mathematics, data management, or a related field</p></li><li><p>High degree of comfort and experience with technology, data systems, learning platforms, and reporting tools, preferably within an educationally based organization</p></li><li><p>High level of confidence and proficiency with data and reporting tools such as Excel and PowerBi</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with ADO and participating on a team that follows the Agile framework is preferable</p></li><li><p>Recognizes the impact of change on others, and leads through positive behavior and coaching</p></li><li><p>Solves problems by using expertise to evaluate multiple sources of information, and creating innovative solutions to problems</p></li><li><p>Highly effective communicator</p></li></ul><p>The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $49,000-$55,000.
