King County Metro Transit Enterprise Asset Management Section seeks an Asset Management Project/Program Manager III (Project/Program Manager III - (PPM III) to act as a steward overseeing department-wide fixed fleet and IT assets. In a highly matrixed structure, the Asset Management PPM III will work with divisional representative to establish new planning, assets health assessment and monitoring, to maintaining our assets to keep these assets in good working order.

The Asset Management PPM III will share best asset management practices with division representatives to ensure that each division shares a similar process in managing assets by implementing the agency's Transit Asset Management Plan, State of Good Repair policy and strategical plans. The role of the PPM III will provide expertise, guidance, coordination, and support to the ongoing work of Metro Enterprise Asset Management service.
This position will report to the Director of Asset Management and join a small team in the Finance and Administration division. The most competitive candidate for this position will be an innovative project manager with strong collaboration and communication skills who has significant experience in asset management, good understanding of people side change management resulting from the change of technology, policy, and/or process.

Other Position Information:
Work Schedule: This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and not overtime eligible. Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule, every other Thursday. Work hours are comprised of a 40-hour workweek, normally 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The work associated with this position will be performed or conducted through a combination of teleworking, onsite work, and meetings. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees
must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
