Team Overview:

The Global Request for Proposal (RFP) Group is responsible for creating documents that articulate J.P. Morgan Asset Management's (JPMAM) unique value proposition and brand commitments to clients around the world. The Global RFP Group plays a key role in both the acquisition of new business and the retention of valuable existing clients. This team works closely with our Product Investment Specialist and Client Advisor partners to create, curate and maintain RFPs, Requests for Information (RFIs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).

Role Description:

This role offers the opportunity to engage and collaborate extensively with functional departments across the firm (e.g., Compliance, Legal, Operations, Risk, ESG, Diversity, Trading, Technology etc.), and learn about JPMAM's extensive range of investment strategies and services.

The role is looking for someone who can drive a team that has significant opportunity to leverage technology to help streamline processes and deliver a more efficient process leveraging workflow and machine learning, all while creating metrics and KPI's that demonstrates efficiencies and quicker time to market. With a growing demand, we need to be able to produce more information accurately and quickly to meet our clients' needs without a decline in quality.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Create the vision and strategy to measure and streamline all activities of the team

  • Help shape the technology aspects of managing firm wide content leveraging uniform workflow and content storage while looking to the enhance the experience with newer technologies such as natural language processing and machine learning

  • Work as part of a team, owning and managing a pipeline of work and facing off to key stakeholders and constituent groups to produce best in class content for our materials

  • Create, develop and govern of all company-level data and content.

  • Working with SME's on "developing" new content (ESG and Diversity for example) will be critical

  • Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts (SME's) in areas such as legal, compliance, client account management, sales, trading and technology among others

  • Create channels for continuous feedback loops on content to make sure it is portraying the best picture possible

  • Serve as the authoritative source of all company-level information

  • Work closely with Technology to deploy Tech resources to streamline processes

  • Identify & resolve firm-wide discrepancies in terms & definitions with senior leaders across the JPMAM

Essential Skills and Qualifications required:

  • Minimum of six years of experience in a professional environment preferred

  • Ability to frame and communicate highly-detailed information to external and internal clients

  • Proven experience in leading transformational change initiatives that leverage and build upon existing models and teams

  • Comfortable with technology as it relates to work flow, content management and exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP) a plus

  • Strong cross-business and cross-functional collaboration

  • Strong client- centric mindset

  • Editorial skills and ability to develop and curate a variety of content with accuracy and attention to detail is very crucial

  • Superb execution skills and the ability to drive completion of high-quality, on-time projects across multiple clients, functions and lines of business

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to build relationships and navigate a large organization

  • Knowledge of JPMAM's products and the organization of our business would be helpful but not required
