POSITION SUMMARY:

The Asset Coordinator manages digital assets (photography, CGI and running footage) throughout all aspects of the agency by adhering to and maintaining digital naming conventions, file management, metadata and quality control. Liaisons with other departments to assist in the day-to-day requests of exporting assets to various vendors, partners, etc. Main function of job will be managing the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and providing support to the Art Producer when needed.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage photography, CG artwork and broadcast footage generated by the agency and/or client

  • Help guide work through the production process with a proactive and keen attention to detail

  • Collect assets for internal teams as requested

  • Fulfill daily requests of assets requested by Mazda and agency partners (i.e., vendors, global partners) and external asset coordinators on a timely and efficient basis

  • Build strong relationships among all departments

  • Provides unfailing support and is a reliable resource to the Art Producer (assist with miscellaneous requests such as searches for stock photography, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong communication and/or interpersonal skills with internal and some external stakeholders

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator & Bridge)

  • A general understanding of digital file specs, size/resolution & formats

  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and proactively

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Ability to take direction and work with minimum supervision

  • Ability to collaborate effectively and listen

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or related experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Strong MS Office Suite

  • Excellent multi-tasker and problem-solver

  • Have physical and mental requirements to meet the above listed job responsibilities

They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store.
