The Shift Coordinator, in conjunction with the Director of Largo Medical Center's Assessment and Referral Center (ARC), leads the coordination of the ARC activities, coordinates shift activities for staff, provides regular updates to Emergency Departments, and interfaces with community partners for patient placement needs. The ARC Shift Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing resources, concerns, and productivity in absence of the Manager and/or Director of ARC.
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field
LCSW or LMHC or LMFT
Minimum of 1-3 years experience in a behavioral healthcare setting performing clinical assessments
An RN with Psych ANCC Certification and a minimum of 3 years experience in a behavioral healthcare setting performing clinical assessments will also be considered
The ideal candidate will posses:
A thorough knowledge of current behavioral health concepts, principles and methods of treatment
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Good organization skills
Ability to prioritize and demonstrate good judgment
Interacts and communicates with others in a way that promotes a positive and cooperative work environment
Critical thinking, service excellence
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions; Ability to follow verbal instructions General PC skills; Proficiency with MEDITECH and/or InterQual is a plus!
