Assessment and Authorization Analyst, Mid
Provide information assurance measures, controls, and support services for a DoD client in accordance with Risk Management Frameworks (RMF), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) or other applicable DoD and Federal procedures and policies, common criteria, and applicable standards. Apply knowledge of Cybersecurity and privacy analysis and consulting with the security assessment and compliance life cycle process. Analyze the development of Cybersecurity and privacy policies, programs, and compliance artifacts and standards in support of government and industry security compliance, including systems accreditation, and management. Analyze the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure systems meet security and privacy requirements, laws, and regulations.
4+ years of experience in the Cybersecurity field
3+ years of experience with certification and accreditation or assessment and authorization OR
3+ years of experience as a security control assessor or validator
Experience with RMF
Experience with the RMF process and NIST SP 800-53 Rev 4
BA or BS degree
8570.01-M IAT DoD Level I Certification
Experience in developing and writing Cybersecurity policies and procedures
Knowledge of applicable laws relate to security, risk management and vulnerability management
Possession of excellent customer service skills
BA or BS degree in CS or Technology
