Position Summary and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of intricate wiring on cable, connectors, junction boxes and similar equipment.

  • Must be able to read and understand schematic wiring diagrams and process sheets and blueprints

  • Must be able to use with supervisory help, simple electrical instruments to make polarity determinations

  • Must be able to work from detailed written or verbal instructions on standard assemblies with guidance and supervision

  • Oral/Written Communication Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Records data; Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • HS diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to apply common sense in performing job

  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to use basic high school math skills

  • 1-2 years manufacturing/production experience

Physical Demands:

  • Good coordination and flexibility in both hands

  • Move and occasionally lift up to 50lbs. or more

  • Good vision including passing color blindness tests

Work Environment:

  • Factory environment

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Use of safety glasses

  • Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers

Position Summary: * This is a hourly position which includes supervising Leads, Associates, and managing tasks assigned to them. * This will include maintenance of management required continuous improvement, performance standards, efficiencies and utilization metrics for achieving company objectives. * Ability to perform all Department Supervisor position requirements. * Responsible for Production Firearms Manufacturing of Assembly, including supervision of associates.Includes production support; data collection and analysis; workplace 5s and safety; and personnel standard work evaluation and development. Primary Responsibilities: Supervise Production Firearms Manufacturing of Assembly, and associates performing the builds of firearms, including assuring staff compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws, most importantly regarding safety, quality, and function. Serve as point of contact for Management Team, including assistance in preparation of budgets, with focus on staffing, meeting all customers demands; along with assembly, and packing rates/standards/methods. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and assuring compliance with safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with 5s requirements. Assure all documentation for area is up-to-date, relevant and available to personnel at points of use and that personnel are trained to requirements. Transactions of activities are proper and timely, including Oracle, Agile. Lead 5S Workplace organizational activities and maintain the assembly facilities in good working order through sustainment activities, including requests for maintenance assistance for projects beyond the capability of personnel. Be able to have flexibility to assist department manager on being a point of contact on other shifts. Requirements Education / Experience & Skills * High School Diploma or equivalent. * 2+ years Supervisory experience working in a packing, shipping or manufacturing capacity is strongly preferred. * Working knowledge of inventory control systems. * Ability to work in a fast paced environment where priorities are shifting regularly. * Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with internal teams and external parties. * Be able to have flexibility to assist department manager on being a point of contact on other shifts. * Good communication Skills. * Must work well in a team environment. * Experience in handling multiple simultaneous tasks and requirements. * Experience with Oracle is preferred.
