Responsibilities:

This individual will assemble small parts and battery packs for franchise/manufacturing orders. They may also be cross-trained to work in other areas of the Fulfillment Center.

What the person will do:

  • Resistance welds, solders, and super glues small parts and battery packs

  • Assembles and heat-shrinks small parts and battery packs

  • Assists in facilitating other departments needs related to the Fulfillment Center

  • Assists with departmental reporting functions

  • Provides backup support and trains other personnel as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate

  • Resistance welding, soldering and small parts assembly experience; technical battery knowledge preferable

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Flexible, team player and positive attitude

  • Strong analytical and decision making skills

  • Position requires excellent attendance

  • Working knowledge of personal computer

Assembly Room Environment:

  • Personal computer data entry and information retrieval

  • The ability to lift 35 lbs

  • Able to walk , stand and sit for prolonged periods

  • Interacts with Merchandising Support, Sales, Warehouse/Receiving, Manufacturing

Base Hourly Rate: Production Kitchen $14.29 Serving Kitchen $13.01 3 hrs/day This position is part-time and is not entitled to health benefits. QUALIFICATIONS: * Skills, Knowledge and Abilities * Ability to follow directions. * Ability to complete tasks in an efficient manner. * Proper use of kitchen equipment. * Basic mathematical skills and problem solving skills. * Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. * Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. * Experience: Food Service knowledge and/or experience preferred. * Certification: Food Safety/Sanitation Training within first year preferred. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES * Maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen/serving areas. * Assist in food preparing/serving as assigned. * Ensure the finished product is of highest quality and appearance. * Serves students and staff in a efficient and pleasant manner. * Effectively communicates with management, co-workers and customers. * Assists in daily clean-up and maintain organization in all areas of the kitchens. * Maintain proper record keeping according to local, state and federal regulations. * Ability/knowledge to recognize a reimbursable meal. * Ability to count proper change and identify currency. * Follows Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points guidelines in all areas of the kitchen. * Attends district meetings and classes. * Reports to manager any irregularities in food, equipment, safety and sanitation. * Maintains a reliable attendance record. * Performs other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to push, pull, lift or carry 50 lbs. * Good physical condition. * Bending, stooping, kneeling and the ability to work while standing or walking. WORKING CONDITIONS: * Demands of workload may be stressful. * May be occasional exposure to extreme temperature changes, fumes, noise, hazardous materials, bodily fluids and emergency situations. TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: * 9 month position, at will employee * Performance evaluated annually, per Board Policies and Administrative guidelines.
