Production Supervisor

Overall responsibility

Primary duty is assembly and hydrostatictesting of tubular oilfield components used in downhole oil wellcompletions.

Keyareas of responsibility

  • Operation of hand tools and basic air tools

  • Parts are generally heavy (excess of 200 lbs.') and require the use ofoverhead crane

  • Should be capable of reading scaled manufacturing drawings as well ascapable of using dial calipers and analog OD/ID micrometers to verifydimensions of machined components.

  • Will be required to perform lot-batch management of raw materials andcomponents as per assembly procedure

  • Operate hydrostatic pressure test equipment to 4000 psi in the testingand qualification of finished components

  • Operate hydraulic press in assembly centers

  • Operate hydraulic torque/turn machine and be familiar with torque turnspecifications as per API specifications

  • Employees will be required to become forklift certified and operate a3,500 lb. forklift

Qualifications

  • High school or GED diploma

  • Needs good vision, coordination and dexterity to deal withhandling and manipulating materials and parts

  • Must be able to focus on the task at hand and pay attentionto details

  • High level of physical stamina and strength necessary forrepetitive work and long periods of standing, bending, twisting and lifting
