The successful candidate(s) will perform repair and overhaul; including disassembly, assembly, and test, on military and commercial aviation articles in accordance with current technical data, regulatory, and customer requirements.


  • Subassembly, assembly, acceptance testing and finishing (Final-out) hydro-mechanical components by using written work instructions, e.g., engineering drawings, assembly procedures, acceptance test procedures, engineering and industry specifications

  • Strictly adheres to written work instructions as defined by the applicable engineering drawings, assembly procedures, acceptance test procedures and specifications

  • Accurately record in-process documentation, e.g., assembly work records and acceptance test data sheets

  • Ability to read basic precision measuring equipment, e.g., OD micrometers, depth micrometers, dial calipers, height gauges, etc.

  • Very good organizational skills to ensure accuracy, neatness and completeness.

  • High attention to detail ensuring product is assembled and tested to meet all quality standards.

  • Very good communication skills to contribute as a team member. Must respect and work well with others.

  • Strict adherence to all company safety requirements and company guidelines.

  • Ability to work efficiently within production time standards to meet production deadlines.

  • Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive outlook

  • Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements.

  • Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met.


  • High school diploma or equivalent with 0-1 years of related experience

  • Silver level Workforce Readiness certificate or ability to obtain

  • A&P certification and 2 years manufacturing, assembly and test, or aviation maintenance (civilian or military) preferred

  • Read, write legibly, and understand English

  • Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiple, and divide)

  • Mechanical/technical aptitude

  • Attendance dependability.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Flexibility with changes in work requirements.

  • Ability to stay focused and meet deadlines, which may require overtime.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Perform basic computer skills, such as open and save files along with basic data entry.

  • Understand basic terminology used in the job functional area.

  • Ability to read a blue print.

  • Active listening skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team.

  • Open to feedback.

  • May require lifting, pulling and carrying up to fifty (50) pounds.

  • Standing up to ten (10) hours per day or a combination of sitting and standing.

  • Ability to hear and see with or without the assistance of a device

  • Ability to read intricate, small, and detailed writing with or without the use of corrective lenses

  • Must meet all regulatory requirements.

To be considered for this role you will have two years experience in a Nondestructive testing role in manufacturing or the aerospace industry and a working knowledge of NAS 410, Nadcap, and AS9100. NDT Inspection Technician Job Duties and Responsibilities: Performs Nondestructive Testing inspections utilizing Fluorescent Penetrant and Magnetic Particle inspection methods in accordance with written procedures to meet Customer, Nadcap, FAA, and internal processing requirements while promoting and executing quality assurance philosophy throughout the organization. Maintains product quality nondestructive testing techniques, inspection reports by keeping accurate records and files and maintains process controls and NDT processing inspection equipment per written specifications. Assures product quality and manufacturing accuracy by properly interpreting NDT inspection results to the applicable specifications and drawing requirements and by utilizing a specialized combination of skill, knowledge, interpretation, attention to detail, communication, and technical ability. Ensures that inspections and equipment conform to standards by correctly reading blueprints and applicable specifications, prepares written instructions, organizes, and reports inspection results and solves problems by working closely with Customers, Engineering, Repair & Overhaul, and Manufacturing departments. Use LEAN initiatives in daily tasks to streamline process flow and increase, complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements and contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive outlook. Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met. NDT Inspection Technician Job Requirements and Preferences: Associates degree in Manufacturing/Engineering or technical field, or equivalent work-related experience or Associates degree or Technical certification in Manufacturing Engineering or Military experience with two years in a Nondestructive testing role in manufacturing or the aerospace industry. Prefer education, certification, and experience. Working knowledge of NAS 410, Nadcap, and AS9100 with working knowledge using various tool for Root Cause/Corrective Action investigations, analysis, and implementation. Familiarization/experience in the following methodologies is preferred; DMAIC and 8 Disciplines (8D) problem solving and Lean Six Sigma. Must be able to meet testing, vision, and certification requirements for Magnetic Particle and Liquid (Fluorescent) Penetrant inspections in accordance with NAS Certification and Qualification of Nondestructive Test Personnel (NAS 410) with ability to travel up to 10%. Must be able to frequently bend, climb stairs, reach overhead, stand up to eight (8) hours per day, sit up to eight (8) hours per day, or a combination of sitting and standing and may be required to lift, pull, and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
