Our Client, a rapidly growing company in the medical device industry, has an exciting ground-floor opportunity for a ASSEMBLY TECHNCIAN-CLEAN ROOM in the Detroit, MI area!

The experienced ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN-CLEAN ROOM will be responsible for assembly, test, line clearance and cleanroom cleanliness.

Qualifications: HS Diploma required Need to have a full understanding of assembly processes while working in a class 100,000 medical device cleanroom environment Firm understanding of FDA and ISO 13485 guidelines Experience using assembly and test equipment required Must be able to assemble very detailed devices in a consistent manner *No H1b Sponsorship available for this role Interested Candidates please send your resume in WORD format to . Best Team. Driven to connect our world. Apply today! Job Overview Assembly Scheduler is responsible for scheduling the assembly lines in Detroit, which includes engines, axles and transmissions. This role includes working with the high level Production Planning information and line rates that are provided by Program Planning and supporting the assembly lines with production orders to support the necessary product ship dates. Responsibilities * Based on input from Program Planning, Product Distribution and Supplier Management, establish the assembly production plan, sequence and release production orders for various assembly lines in Detroit, including engines, axles and transmissions. * Communicate and coordinate the build plans and any changes with various departments and management. * Work in the supporting systems for at least one product line – DIBS for engines, PTSI (SAP) for transmissions and axles. * Work with Supplier Management and Change Management, run reports and analyze / monitor the line up based on part availability. * Schedule and facilitate meetings as required to handle issues that arise due to unforeseen conditions and questions. * Interface with various departments, including Series Management, Launch and Change Management, Product Distribution, Forecasting and Production. * Update Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to measure sequence stability and adherence to customer due date; this involves root cause analysis. * Keep management aware of progress, developments and pending problems. * Support special projects, as needed. * Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities. * Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business from an accredited university/college OR an associate's degree with 1 year of related experience OR 4 years of related experience required * An attached resume is required * Strong level of oral and written communication skills required * Analytical and problem solving ability required * Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint required Additional Information * Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. at the time of application * Final candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check * EEO/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans For an accommodation or special assistance with applying for a posted position, please contact our Human Resources department at 503-745-8982 or toll free 800-206-3369.
