Key Role: Candidate must be willing to build all assembling parts and subassemblies into casing in a specified time.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly of component parts in a particular relationship

Quality assembly, detailing, finishing and packing

Inspections of quality control and checking lists for final assembly.

Light carpentry using hand tools or portable power tools to fasten parts together.

Capable of operating machines such as saws, crimper or riveting machines to perform the tasks of fitting, fastening or cutting force.

Assist in other departments of production, duties as necessary.

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions

Must be a team player

Attention to detail is a must

Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job.

Must be able to Speak, Read and Write English.

Must comply with safety laws as needed for the work such as wearing goggles, safety lenses, back support and ear plugs.

Must be able to work in fast paced environment

Team player who works well within different work groups and environment is a must.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

ABOUT THIS ROLE: As a Development Services Technician, you will be responsible for performing initial customer interviews, including performing quality control and issuance of various types of land permits and processing development plans in accordance with Land Development processes. This position will also perform general and routine records management duties such as filing, researching, stamping plans and plans distribution. In addition, this position is responsible for the creation of plans invoices and the processing of various forms of payment for commercial and residential permits. This position requires the ability to work both independently and as a member of a dynamic team to complete tasks based on a daily work schedule. PREFERENCES: Experience working for local government and/or working with permits, zoning, plan intake, land development and/or building development is a plus.Knowledge of standard office procedures; systems and technology; thorough knowledge of providing exceptional customer service; knowledge of automatic routing systems; ability to operate standard office equipment; ability to communicate effectively in English is also desired.
