POSITION SUMMARY:

Assembles, inspects and packs flow control assemblies as directed in a clean room type environment.

CD prides itself in the ability to design, innovate and manufacture flow control valves for custom applications and offers a line of standard products that has grown over the years. CD is based in Saint Louis, MO and its products are sold on a global basis to O.E.M's, Distributors and End Users.

Control Devices is a privately owned company with a very seasoned management team focused on organic sales growth with existing products and new revenue growth through acquisitions.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assembles parts per manufacturing documentation using processes including, but not limited to hand assembly, pneumatic and manual torque tools, soldering, and pressure testing

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations associated with the specific environment. This may include use of hairnets, gloves, etc. required to maintain product cleanliness expectations.

Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

Documents actions by completing production and quality documentation

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Maintains high level of attention to detail required for products produced

Remains flexible on job duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

High School Diploma/GED Equivalent

Basic Math

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

At least 6 months experience working in assembly

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Attention to detail

Excellent vision

Good eye hand coordination

Good dexterity

Quality focused

Safety focused

Ability to produce product efficiently at expected production rates

Ability to complete a task by following written instructions

DESIRED SKILLS:

Ability to lift up to 35lbs

The position is responsible for Assembly, Cutting, Laminating, Quality Inspection and Shipping. Shifts Available Split 12:30 - 9 * Overtime schedules are put in place on the weekends. Responsibilities Include: * Assembly of framework and installation of graphics into supplied frames according to customer specifications. Applying materials to graphics in preparation for trade show set up. * Handling of large format graphics and setup of cutting equipment to trim prints according to order specifications. * Operate large format laminators and become familiar by touch to multiple lamination options. * Inspect graphics for quality and follow finishing instructions to ensure that all orders meet customer specifications. * Packaging graphics, frames and accessories to ensure quality delivery to customers. Data entry of delivery instructions into UPS and FedEx software systems for shipment. Minimum Qualifications: * Basic Math Skills * Ruler Reading Skills * Manual Dexterity * Keen eye for detail * Ability to lift 50 lbs.
