Job Description:

Pentair (Clearwater Tech) has a job opportunity for you!

Join us as an Assembly Operator in our San Luis Obispo facility.

You will be doing assembly or ozone generators by following detailed instructions (blueprint) and steps for the process, while making sure that the quality and production is being maintained.

• The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $17.50 - $29.00. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

More details about the opportunity:

• Assembly of ozone generator components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies

• Verify specification by measuring completed component.

• Cutting PVC piping to length and preparing and glue into assemblies

• Position parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

• Possible bullets about what skills they need or what they will be doing. No more than 5 bullets max

• Must be able to read blueprints, tape measures, and any other documents to help with the assembly process.

• You will be using small hand tools and power tools for the assembly process.

• Must be able to keep up with production pace and create quality parts.

• Must have basic math skills, ability to speak and read basic English, and be able to stand for your entire shift. Basic computer skills are a plus.

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):

1st shift: 7am to 3:35pm, Monday through Friday

Physical Requirements:

Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs. Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.
