Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures. Primary Job Responsibilities: * Preparing machine for assembly process * Operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly machines * Load reels of strip terminals and housing onto assembly machines * Make fine adjustments to properly align mating parts in machine * Clear jams and inspect finished products * Prepare completed reels for transport to other areas within facility * Must be able to use a microscope to inspect parts with training What your background should look like: This is an entry level position requiring basic mechanical/technical skills. We will provide on-the-job training to candidates who have a desire to learn and grow within the organization. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to lift and carry a maximum weight of 37 lbs. * Must be able to push a peak force of 34.5 lbs. * Must be able to pull a peak force of 39.5 lbs. * Frequent standing and balancing throughout the day is required in this job.
