Role Summary:


Baker Hughes has an opening for an Assembly, Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul Technician to support Artificial Lift in Tulsa, OK.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for efficient maintenance of shop equipment

  • Assemble and dis assemble all equipment as per standard procedures

  • Conduct initial inspections of equipment that come into the shop

  • Inspection of incoming and outgoing products to ensure accuracy and quality

  • Operate over-head cranes and occasional fork lift

  • May paint and perform final clean up before they are sent back to the fields for services

  • Operating and maintain repair equipment to complete day to day tasks

  • Attend prejob safety meetings on location

  • This position requires constant use of PPE like such as coveralls, hard-hat, gloves (job dependent), safety shoes and shields

  • Performs other related duties as instructed by supervisor

  • Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner

  • This position is a Mon-Fri role on a shift basis; must be open to work on either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts as required and on call basis


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years of experience working in Mechanical type background such as: auto mechanics, farm hands, aviation mechanics and assembly and disassembly of oil tools

  • Must have high regards to safety and quality

  • Must be compliant to all Baker Hughes policies and procedures

  • Conduct all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes HSE policies

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Good mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to use common hand tools

  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance documents, drawings, parts lists and follow formal procedures

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

  • Basic computer skills

  • Basic skills in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes

Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge of operating and troubleshooting field equipment

  • Familiarity with blue prints and schematics

  • First Aid training is an added plus

This is a great opportunity to join the team as we continue to acquire more properties in the region. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong><br></p><p>The Maintenance/Make Ready Technician supports and assists the maintenance staff by providing directing and coaching team, assisting in completing work orders, conducting property inspections, opening new properties, and overseeing capital improvements.</p><ul> <li>Represent the company is a professional and courteous manner with internal and external customers</li> <li>Responds to resident, management, and service request for occupied apartments as directed by management</li> <li>Schedule, coordinate and perform a wide range of technical maintenance and repair operations in turnovers, including but not limited to HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and appliances</li> <li>Determine methods and procedures on all projects and provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel</li> <li>Manage all maintenance contractors and vendors, which includes all vendor contracts, budgets, maintenance/equipment</li> <li>Manage vendor relationships, ensuring delivery schedules, quality and quantity criteria are met</li> <li>Assists with ensuring established preventative maintenance programs are implemented, followed and documented in accordance with Karya best practices</li> <li>Uses service request system and schedules to establish priorities. Determines with Property Manager request or emergencies that should be top priority. Monitors the completion of service requests. Monitors the completion of Service Request to limit call-backs</li> <li>Reviews maintenance team's work to ensure quality standards are met and work in completed in Karya's policies and procedures.</li> <li>Maintain required records such as material usage, production, time, and other reports as required </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Minimum 5+ years' experience in a maintenance role with multifamily community greater than 250 units preferred</li> <li>HVAC Certification Required</li> <li>Experience as a Make Ready </li> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent required</li> </ul><ul> <li>Must be able to pass a background check</li> <li> </li></ul><p><strong>Competencies </strong><br>• Expert knowledge of machines and tools, including designs, uses, repair, and maintenance<br>• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills<br>• High level of commitment to safety and security<br>• Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion<br>• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff<br>• Demonstrated independent work initiative and sound judgement</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements &amp; Working Conditions </strong><br>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk or hear. The employee is required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50-75 pounds.
