Job Summary
This is a full-time position on a team that builds wood trusses for single family and multi-family homes, providing long term stability in a rapid, goal-oriented manufacturing environment. Here at our Temple plant, you will find opportunities to expand your skillset and a management team who wants to advocate for you and your career. We want you to grow with our team through steps such as Assembler to Crew Lead, then Supervisor, to management and beyond. We are looking for applicants who are serious about developing themselves through continuous improvement, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble lumber using laser guides, metal connector plates, hammers, and other tools as required.
Deliver on production goals and develop skills to continue consistently meeting those goals.
Actively engage in quality control checks throughout assembly to ensure a quality product is being produced and shipped to our customers.
Maintain a tidy work area.
Follow standard work instructions on machinery to preserve your safety, and the safety of your team members.
Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and other programs.

Physical Requirements
Frequently lifting/moving material up to 60 pounds
Repetitive wrist and arm movements
Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, dirt, grease, oil, and vibrations
Flexing from one area to another, depending on business needs
The ability to stand up for long periods of time
The ability to comply with all safety protocols, including wearing mandatory PPE at all times (safety-toe shoes, ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves, and others as needed)
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma/GED is preferred but not required.
Working knowledge of basic math.
6 months+ of construction or manufacturing experience is preferred; however, no minimum experience is required, we will train you on everything you need to know!
Must have reliable transportation.

$1,850 retention bonus paid incrementally upon reaching 30, 60, 120, and 365 days of service.

Starting at $17.00/hour with performance review and eligibility for merit raise at 45 days of service.
