Superior Completion Services is currently seeking a Tool Assembler to join our team in Alice, TX.


The Tool Assembler position will interact with Field Technicians in the facility concerning equipment preparation and service support on all levels for each designated department. This role is integral to Superior Completions commitment to accurately defining the right solution, deploying the proper resources, and carrying out successful execution of service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and rebuild packers and repair equipment in shop and field locations

  • Pull, test and certify equipment for job load out/returns

  • Make deliveries and hot shot runs to rig locations

  • Work safely and as instructed on equipment

  • Record all needed information for equipment tracking

Minimum Requirements

  • Able to operate forklift

  • Basic math skills

  • Basic computer skills

  • 1 year experience in a shop and/or equipment and service support environment a plus

  • Experience in packer rebuild a plus

  • Excellent comprehension of mechanical operations required

  • Troubleshooting and testing experience is required

  • Ability to effectively deal with problems under pressure

  • Comfortable working an on call schedule and/or overtime as needed

  • Possess good communication skills and the ability to maintain good relationships with fellow employees

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and commitment to safety


  • High School diploma is required

Qualifications Education * High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) * Post Secondary Certificate or training in mechanics preferred Professional Experience * Minimum of 3 years experience in general heavy-duty truck and/or trailer repair. * Minimum of 1 year of experience on suspensions and alignments * Minimum of 1 year of experience on drive train repairs. * Minimum 2 years on engine electronics * Minimum 2 years on cab air conditioning Certifications/Licenses * Valid drivers' license with clean driving record.
