Assembler - Refer

Responsibilities:

• Read, interpret and follow engineering drawings, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products

• Utilize handheld and power tools such as a air gun

• Perform visual work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards

• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified

• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products to comply with requirements

• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures

Ideal candidate would:

• Cut, deburr, form copper tubing to engineering drawings and piping schematics.

• Use of tape measure

• Identify and use of tubing, fittings, piping, valves and other refrigeration components.

• Brazing Certified

• Read Engineering drawings, Piping diagrams and BOM.

• Use Nitrogen while brazing in both the case and subassemblies.

• Pipe coils together adding optional valves: Solenoids, Driers, etc. required by Job

• Fill Coils with Hydrostar and perform Sniffer Leak Check and pressure decay tests

• Perform all necessary routines pertaining to electronic components and wiring.

• Cut, strip, crimp, and attach wires.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and all related paperwork.

• Install and terminate all electrical components and connections.

• Perform functional testing of fans, lights, heaters, evap pans, etc

• Perform Hipot Testing

• Perform wiring and testing of controllers.

• Troubleshoot and perform diagnostic tests and perform repairs as needed

• Charge/evacuate refrigerant.

• Perform Self Contained refrigeration testing and hot case functional testing.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Must join a union.

The hourly range of $21.01-24.01 is just one component of Hussmann's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, location and union designation. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
