The Production Assembler will be responsible for work according to customer specifications to assemble material and/or parts. The job consists of working in a manufacturing assembly cell, assembling material by hand or using small hand operated equipment.
Read work orders and standardized work to position and align parts in specific relationship to each other, jig, fixture or other holding device
Follow directions from Supervisor
Fill in any open positions in a given department, as needed.
Mount assembly components and hardware
Assemble and test various materials or products
Perform basic quality and testing checks
Oversee machines that press, shape, and cut various assemblies
Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Maintain neat and orderly work areas and observe all safety rules.
Must be detail orientated.
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years of assembly experience in a TS, AS or ISO facility
Basic math skills addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis
Must be able to bend, kneel, lift, stand and walk on hard surfaces such as concrete on a regular basis.
