Production Assembler / Manufacturing Associate / FULLTIME WITH BENEFITS!

Position Type: Full-Time Location: Kent, Washington

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Hourly/Salary: Hourly

Reports To: Assembly Supervisor Department: Assembly

Schedule: M-F, 7:30a - 4p Starting Pay Range: $15-$17/hr

Work Description:

  • Uses mechanical skills to assemble products (units and/or subassemblies) without quality defects

  • May pull needed parts to assemble products

  • May read blue prints and other drawings to ensure products are assembled correctly

  • Operates hand and air-powered tools such as impact wrenches, manual and powered screwdrivers, sockets, and other assorted power and hand tools

  • Update information in manufacturing software regarding job data

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED equivalent required

  • Ability to interpret blueprints and instructional drawings preferred aptitude to learn this skill is required

  • Mechanical skills/aptitude and ability to use hand tools required

  • Comprehension of machine tolerance preferred aptitude to learn this concept is required

  • Basic computer skills required

  • 1+ years of related experience preferred but not required

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. over 2/3 of workday

  • Other physical activity may include standing, climbing, stooping, bending, reaching, and frequent use of hands and fingers

  • Fine motor skills required to use small parts in assemblies

You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of design, analysis, assembly, testing and support of flight operations. Your passion for space vehicle support systems means you are committed to the necessary quality and attention to detail required to support human space flight. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Responsibilities: * Design and build of rocket engines routed systems including propellant feed, pressurization, and hydraulics * Integration of rocket engines into vehicles and test facilities * Detail design of heat exchangers and structure components * Develop 3-D models, assembly & detail drawings, and interface control documents * Design support of engine assembly components through the complete product lifecycle * Provide technical guidance for engine final assembly and test stand integration Qualifications: * Proficiency in Creo Pro/E and Pro/E Piping, Sheet Metal, and Mechanism * CAD experience in Large Assembly Management * Knowledge of fabrication, integration processes and quality control relative to tubes/piping and machined components * Experience managing large CAD assemblies and associated drawings * Experience with ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, Y14.41 * Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
