LK Jordan is hiring Production Assemblers for a reputable manufacturing company that offers great benefits and advancement. Temp to hire opportunity for qualified personnel.

Seeking candidates responsible for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Production assemblers can perform all task conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or assigned departments. Will perform quality checks on products and parts, package finished products and prepare for shipping.
Maintain clean work environment.
Review work orders and ensure work is performed according to specifications and material requirements.

Skills:

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Experience operating power tools & read tape measure

  • Proficient in Math & Reading

  • Detailed oriented

  • Good eye/hand coordination to make precise and continuous movements of the fingers/hands

  • Follow all safety policies at all times

Requirements:

  • Clean criminal background

  • Must pass drug screen

  • Standing for long periods of time in a non climate controlled environment

  • Ability to work 4-10's with possible overtime, (M-Thur 730am-530pm)

  • Wear steel toes, safety glasses and ear plugs at all times

VIEW JOBS 10/31/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-29T00:00 * Assembles machines, equipment, and their sub-assemblies following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications. * Assemble components of all product lines. Selects correct tools and fixtures. * Tests all assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products. * Ability in blueprint reading, component identification, use of pertinent hand tools and rework techniques, equipment operation, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies. * Create labor records for all transactions. * Making repairs to customer property including valves, wellheads, spools, chokes, actuators, and other surface wellhead equipment as required. * Assembling and breaking down of new or used equipment. * Inspecting, repairing, testing equipment. * Executing general shop maintenance: storage, shop and equipment clean-up, shipping/receiving. * Responsible for the safety of self and others including reporting of all work-related injuries, near misses, equipment damage and unsafe acts as soon as practicable to supervisor or senior technician. * Tear down and troubleshooting of customer owned property for inspection, repair, reassembly and testing based on customer communications. * Assembling, testing and painting of new or used wellhead/tree sections. * Field Service work as needed based on work. Minimum Job Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED. * 2+ years' experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent. * Must be mechanically adept; able to use a variety of hand and power tools. * To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: decision making/judgment, job knowledge, customer focus, initiative, communication, teamwork/cooperation, results focus, work environment/safety, adaptability/flexibility and dependability. * Conduct assembly related operations under minimal supervision for any of the following processes IE: assembly, hydraulic and hydrostatic tests, disassembly, cleaning using pressure washer, deburr, tapping, polishing, stenciling, bead blast, sand blast and or paint. * Maintain the housekeeping at workplace and conduct basic inspections to the equipment.
