Job Description

As an Assembler - Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling and testing various components and products in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to the success of our operations and the satisfaction of our customers. You will report directly to our Assembly Supervisor and you'll work out of our Columbus, Ohio location.

In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of our products by ensuring accurate assembly and testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues, and you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to manage a small team, lead daily production cell meetings, and coordinate daily production priorities within your assigned department.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 4+ years of experience in assembly and testing

  • Experience Leading small teams and ability to schedule workflow

  • Some experience trouble shooting and diagnosing returned parts from field service

  • Attention to detail and commitment to problem solving skills

WE VALUE

  • High school diploma or equivilant

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

  • Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds

  • SAP CRM experience
