Under minimal supervision, performs precision assembly of neurovascular devices, within a team structure, in accordance with manufacturing and quality assurance procedures. Performs various other area tasks according to training and department needs. The job is typically performed inside of a Controlled Environment Area (Clean room).

A Day in the Life (Day-to-Day Responsibilities):

  • Is responsible for leading daily operations with minimal supervision, within a production team structure to produce volume to mix and adheres, first and foremost, to GMP requirements required for the team/individual's job metrics. (Per Quality and Manufacturing procedures).

  • Daily duty may include assembly/testing as required

  • Must maintain a high level of cooperation and positive interaction with team members and peers to meet desired results and to contribute beyond the assigned tasks.

  • Follows company/department policies and guidelines, including but not limited to, clean room adherence, company attendance and safety policies, ensuring all near misses and/or injuries are reported in a timely manner to the supervisor.

  • Read drawings and Work Orders, coordinates, communicates, and may collect materials required (Material Handling), and/or Package and label product

  • Document work performed by initialing and dating Work Order

  • Responsible for communicating and driving KPIs against daily metrics. Notify supervisor or one over manager of discrepancies

  • Responsible for understanding training provided by company. Will be responsible for tracking training for the team.

  • Works closely with internal team members within and outside production department. Reports into Production Supervisor

  • Highlights areas of concern/problems in own job area to supervisor/one over manager

  • Daily responsibilities include opening and closing work orders and issuance of material to the work orders.

  • Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

Must Have Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 6+ Years in medical device or manufacturing environment

Nice to Have Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic reading comprehension in English language and basic math

  • Very good manual dexterity skills

  • Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, specifications, simple instructions, short correspondence, company policies and memos

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to write simple correspondence

  • Follow Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines

  • Ability to apply common sense, personal integrity and understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

  • Strong desire for continuous learning

  • Willingness to be flexible, team oriented and open minded to new processes or changes in direction

  • Previous experience within a team environment, desire for collaboration in order to problem solve and achieve business objectives

  • Ability to interface with an auditor
