Assembler III

JOB PURPOSE Performs repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce medical devices products such as IV bags. Assure that all operations are in compliance with all Company standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Places parts in specified relationship to each other.Fastens parts together.Works at different workstations as production needs require.Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line.Inspect each part assuring that the product has zero defects.Displeased the finish product in the appropriate box and stock them until the material handler comes.Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.Removes samples of materials, labels with identifying information, and takes samples to laboratory for analysis as requested.Lifts heavy objects ( 5 lbs. through 25 lbs. approximately) by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area.Occasionally work at other shifts when its required.Able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.Must be able to keep the work area in the cleanest and order conditions.Team worked oriented.Other related duties with the position may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED). LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to the immediate supervisor or group leader.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS cGMP's Training, license and other trainings, certificates, licenses, exams and registrations that the immediate supervisor refers.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold.

The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration.
