The Opportunity | Assembler

Under general supervision, the Assembler follows process drawings/schematics to assemble, repair and inspect components and assemblies for the production of the company's products. Work is semi-routine in nature, following established procedures.

Major Accountabilities /Deliverables

  • Assemble components to a final configured product utilizing process and drawing instructions. Detailed oriented.

  • Solder to IPC standards. (Fine-pitch soldering)

  • Reads/understands and interprets assembly drawings, parts lists, schematics, operations sheets and visual aids.

  • Verify quality and configuration of product against the drawings at the required intervals and verify accuracy of all work

  • Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping, walking, sitting, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity. In addition, frequent lifting (up to 20 lbs)

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years' experience in a similar role

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and BOMs.

  • Certified to IPC/J-STD standards

  • Basic computer skills including MS Office

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be a U.S Citizen
