Job Description

  • Ensure that team members follow procedures accordingly and all required documentation is properly completed.

  • Able to supervise that products are assemble with quality to comply with our customers regulations.

  • Training of production personnel of assembly lines assigned, through on-the-job training or classroom training.

  • Lead a team consisting of 10+ assemblers 1+ material handlers

  • Lead daily management meetings with team.

  • Be able to identify the root cause and implement countermeasures thru problem solving techniques.

  • Update performance indicators on visual management boards.

  • Coach team members on behavior, performance, and continuous improvement to meet quality, performance, and delivery targets.

  • Able to work on assembly lines and/or cover assembler 2 / team leaders due to employee absenteeism when needed.

  • Apply lean methodologies to the day-to-day operation and improve current processes with well define standard work, to continually look for means or methods, eliminating waste, that will reduce cost and optimize flow.

  • Attention to detail while doing the work, promoting positive team attitude.

  • Input the required data for work order completion using shop floor system, including closing work orders, issuing components, scrapping parts, and recording defective components.

  • Tracks employee attendance.

  • Ability to communicate in English, verbally and written. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

  • Physical demands of the job: Stand up most of the 8 hour shift, requires to use PPE to perform certain tasks, lifting of no more than 30 pounds, some pulling and pushing.


  • Minimum education; High school diploma / GED, or the equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment position

  • Good computer skills; comfortable using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and barcode scanners

  • Employee needs to have the flexibility to work OT and other shifts when requested by management.

  • Experience in an FDA regulated environment is a plus.
