Assembler - 2Nd Shift

Job Summary:Datrose is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in Chelmsford, MA. This is a temporary position (W2 Only) in Chelmsford, MA and the contract is expected to last approximately 12 months with the possibility of an extension and a pay rate of $37.31/hr.

  This is on-site, so you must be commutable to Chelmsford, MA. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.Performs fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity. Duties include installation of connectors, substrates, components and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing using paste and sheet epoxies.This role involves fixing integrated circuit-based systems that fail testing.

Tasks include disassembly, assembly, modification, and repair. Work is scheduled independently, and collaboration occurs with Engineering teams.Active secret clearance preferred, willing to consider candidates with a previously held active clearance. Interim secret clearance required to start position. (must be included on resume)Basic Qualifications :Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly

Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers and other similar tools; Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination

Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings; Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities

Ability to work in a diverse team environment; Good interpersonal, teaming and communication skills

High School Diploma required

Second Shift Hours 3:00pm to 1:30amDesired skills :Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment

Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices

Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Experience soldering components to printed wiring boards in accordance with J-STD-001Datrose is an equal opportunity employer.
