Your Role

Join Atlas Copco as an Assembler where you will assemble or disassemble Compressors, Blowers and associated products using common hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric hand tools, cranes and fork trucks. As part of the manufacturing team, you will report to the shift supervisor and work with the assembly team, painters, welders, and manufacturing engineers. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This is an onsite position located in Voorheesville, NY.

• You will complete full package assembly of our engineered to order centrifugal compressors including:

• Mechanical Assembly.

• Motor/Compressor alignment.

• Electrical Box Assembly.

• Electrical Box Installation and Connection.

• Instrument Wiring and Piping.

• Oil and Water Piping.

• Hydrostatic Testing.

To succeed, you will need

• You hold a high school diploma or G.E.D.

• You have one or more years of training in the electrical or mechanical field, or have equivalent experience.

• You can read and understand assembly and wiring drawings.
