The Mechanical / Electrical quality control representative ensures that the mechanical and electrical scopes on the project are compliant with the Contract Documents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (and other duties as assigned)

  • Implement a project-specific Quality Control plan.

  • Supervise on-site quality control staff and subcontractors

  • Coordinate with superintendent and subcontractors in preparing technical submittals.

  • Perform QC inspections at the jobsite.

  • Prepare daily Quality Report for Government review.

  • Coordinate and review purchase orders for contract compliance.

  • Receive and inspect materials.

  • Update the project submittal register, as required.

  • Preparation of and review RFIs (request for information). This shall include technical RFIs from subcontractors for all disciplines.

  • Preparation of Change Orders in coordination with Project Manager.

  • Review of testing reports and plans for all disciplines. Input these test reports into the government software database, RMS (Resident Management System).

  • Update the Project Schedule in coordination with Superintendent, Project Manager and Project Scheduler.

  • Review and input of monthly pay request application into RMS.

  • Updating on-site as-built drawings for all disciplines.

  • Conduct prepatory installation meetings for all definable features of work.

  • Project turn-over, close out inspections and punch list.

  • Oversee on-site Commissioning team. Review Commissioning reports for submission to the COE.

  • Review and implement of the contract documents (plans and specifications) to ensure on-site Work meets the contract requirements.

  • Participate in all project meetings to include weekly owner meetings with COE and MDA, weekly schedule meetings and weekly subcontractor meetings.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.

  • Ability to pass a Federal background check and pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.

  • Five (5) years' experience for Department of Defense federal construction projects.

  • Ability to complete Construction Quality Management for Contractors, or complete within 10 days of hire.

  • Skill in the use MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint at an intermediate level.

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

  • Ability to obtain any clearances required to perform the essential functions of the position.


  • Knowledge on use of US Army Corps of Engineers RMS contract administration software.

JOB SUMMARY The Bull Cook prepares and cooks large quantities of food for remote 320 room construction camp. Daily preparation, production, stocking and presentation of a variety of foods, breakfast, entrees/soups, salads, salad bar accompaniments, pantry production, maintaining serving line levels, cleaning and sanitizing of preparation areas, equipment, and baking. This position may be a nighttime position Clear Air Force Station is a facility of national security interest. Access to the Station requires a comprehensive national background screening. Applicants who cannot obtain access to the Station will not be considered. Base access can be denied based on any type of criminal history, regardless of the offense or time elapsed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Clean, cut, and cook meat, fish, or poultry. * Cook such food items as breakfast, lunch and dinner foods, brew coffee, drinks, tray items, sandwiches, salad dressings, meat items, cheese or vegetable trays, salad bar items, etc. according to menus, or numbers of portions to be served. * Clean and inspect galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation. * Assist with putting away freight. * Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment. * Assist with inventory of supplies and equipment. * Assist with baking breads, rolls, and other pastries. * Check that food supplies are properly rotated and dated. * Prepare all food to meet quantity and service schedule. * Handle food in accordance with ADEC sanitary procedures and standards. * Comply with all federal, Alaska state and local regulatory procedures regarding food production. * Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards, including proper storage and sanitation of kitchen equipment. * Work a variety of shifts, including overnight. * Act in a courteous and professional manner and successfully communicate to personnel, contractors, and local residents. * Perform other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Required * Two (2) years of Cook experience in camp environment. * Obtain a current Food Worker Card issued by ADEC and Serve Safe certification within thirty days of hire. * Experience in the use of common commercial kitchen equipment and tools. * Ability to work early morning or evening shifts, as well as days, weekends and holidays * Experience operating and cleaning standard kitchen equipment * Ability to obtain and maintain a Fire Extinguisher certification. * Ability to obtain and maintain base access requirements. * Ability to obtain any clearances required for the position.
