Wipfli's Aspiring Leaders Program is a daylong event for students who have an interest in learning more about a career in Public Accounting! Students from various colleges will join Wipfli associates at a Wipfli office to participate in team building activities, network with current Wipfli professionals to learn what it means to be a part of the Wipfli team.

Ideal candidates for this opportunity would be sophomores or rising juniors working toward a degree in Accounting with an interest in public accounting and desire to pursue your CPA.

Job Description As a Program Lead, your primary responsibilities are: * Creatively teach cool, innovative concepts to campers in grades K-8 * Use passion for instructing children to inspire and serve as role model for campers * To be punctual, professional, and flexible at all times * Provide leadership to campers and instructors * Coach and train team members on location * Working hands-on with campers for the entire camp day This position supports the program through a combination of leadership and instruction roles: * Assess and teach the curriculum to meet the interests and needs of campers * Represent Drobots Company and communicate with directors at school/facility locations * Make critical decisions in the moment as "last word leader" * Dedicate a few after-camp hours throughout the week and on weekends * Receive supplies and equipment at your residence and help to organize Anticipated Work Hours Per Week 32 - 40 hours per week Locations & Dates Camps operate for 6-9 weeks between June 1 and August 28. We hire teams based on availability for the full camp schedule, so please consider your availability and your ability to arrange reliable transportation before applying. Responsibilities The Program Lead Role The Program Lead serves as a Drobots ambassador, primary onsite liaison, and "customer care" relationship manager between headquarters and each camp location. In addition to providing direct instruction to campers, the Program Lead is responsible for managing the staff, curriculum, materials, inventory, and daily operations of one or more Drobots Company programs (Drone Camps; StemQuest Camps; Grades K-2 LEGO STEM Camps) at our partnered schools in your area. This role also includes, but is not limited to the supervision, responsibility, and communication of and with all Drobots instructors, attending campers and families, oversight of Drobots programs, and the overall safety, positivity, and educational delivery of the company's programs. Why This Role Is Essential Drobots is a third-party and turnkey provider of technology and STEM-based summer camp programs for schools and organizations across the country. Moreover, Drobots is contracted to provide complementary programming for schools that already have an existing camp model. In other words, we are both the school's partner and the visiting guest, fulfilling the majority of technology programs offered on campus throughout the duration of the summer. Therefore, the Program Lead plays a vital role, one which is necessary to maintain strong relationships and quality assurance. Who You Will Report To The Program Lead reports to the talent and customer support teams at Drobots Headquarters. Primary Responsibility In addition to providing direct instruction to campers, the Program Lead is also the on-location, day-to-day "last-word leader and final decision maker" for Drobots' camp programs (Drone Camps; StemQuest Camps; Grades K-2 LEGO STEM Camps). This key member of the team oversees and is responsible for: the company's core values, the enjoyment and positive energy of all camp programming, the Drobots personnel, the integrity and implementation of the curriculum, and above all, the safety of all campers. Training and Pre-Camp Responsibility * Attend a mandatory weekend (early May) training, conducted at Drobots HQ in Maryland. * Attend a mandatory weekend training day (Date: May/June), conducted locally (TBA). * Attend 2-3 weekday remote webinar trainings (May/June). * Complete and fulfill any company rules and regulations and curriculum-related online trainings. Additional Tasks Include * Attend and participate in company training(s) (possible travel involved) and help implement learned concepts at regional training with local staff. * Proactive communication with Headquarters and onsite camp directors. * Maintain positive communication and relationships with the onsite Drobots staff and points of contact; parent communication; medical and emergency procedures manager. * This position is expected to spend the majority of time instructing campers along with the additional leadership responsibilities outlined. Qualifications Drobots Expectations: * Strong commitment to educational programming for children and youth * Tech-savvy mindset and willingness to learn new skills * Access to reliable automobile for entire duration of the summer camp season * Access to a reliable mobile phone device (i.e. iPhone, Android, etc.) * Strong organization skills and attention to detail * Flexibility to meet changing work needs and demands * Ability to work collaboratively on a high-functioning team * Openness to feedback and desire to grow professionally * Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately * Ability to communicate clearly, maturely and compassionately with students and families * Ability to maintain an excellent work ethic, a high level of energy, and exceptional enthusiasm all day, every day, for the duration of the summer Experience & Education: * 3+ years working as a teacher/educator * 3+ years of management or supervisory experience * Extremely outgoing and professional personality * Summer camp experience (preferable, but not required) Options Drobots Company Atlanta GA
