We are currently seeking Asphalt paving & milling experienced laborers to work within heavy civil construction, roadway, highway, and commercial construction. We have opportunities in the Cincinnati, OH and Dayton, OH market.Asphalt Experienced Laborers Principal Duties & Responsibilities: - Perform variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy highway, roadway, excavation, and infrastructure projects

• Operate screed to apply asphalt per plan and quality specifications as instructed by crew foreman / superintendent to insure daily schedules / estimates are met

• Screed operation on the asphalt paver involves making normal adjustments for obtaining proper depth, grade and finished cross section of asphalt material via screed controls

• Ability to guide and direct dump trucks while backing up to machine hopper when operating paver

• Assist in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix

• Minor service / maintenance on equipment if applicable

Asphalt Experienced Laborer Qualifications: - Prior experience working within asphalt industry / roadway construction is a plus. Willing to train the right individuals

• Thorough understanding of all aspects of the paving industry including preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving

• Safety conscious

• Able to work as a team or independently.

• Formal training or certifications relevant to position is a plus

• Valid driver's license Asphalt Experienced Laborer Physical & Mental Demands: - Local travel traditionally
