ASO Manager (World Of Warships: Legends, Mobile)

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for a skilled ASO Manager to join our team, focusing on mobile platforms for World of Warships: Legends at our state-of-the-art Belgrade office.

The ASO (App Store Optimization) Manager will play a crucial role in maximizing the visibility and conversion rates of our mobile applications in app stores such as the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Utilizing your expertise in mobile app development and marketing, you will drive our games to the highest rank in search results, garner superior user ratings, and achieve impressive conversion rates.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will manage daily operations, implement effective processes and procedures, and ensure that our mobile game operates smoothly and efficiently.

What will you do?

• Conduct keyword research and analysis to pinpoint high-impact keywords and phrases for mobile platforms

• Optimize metadata, including app title, description, and keywords, to boost app visibility and conversion rates on mobile

• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics like app ranking, download rates, user ratings, and reviews on mobile platforms to identify improvement opportunities and devise successful strategies

• Plan and execute A/B testing to assess the impact of various ASO strategies and tactics on mobile app stores

• Keep abreast of the latest mobile ASO trends and best practices, track app store policies, conduct competitive analysis and share insights with the team to drive overall performance improvement

• Collaborate with the marketing team to align ASO strategies with broader marketing campaigns

• Work closely with content and art departments to produce assets for ASO

• Handle operational tasks using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Office

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of experience in ASO, or 3+ years in mobile app marketing, or a related field

• A deep understanding of mobile app store algorithms and ranking factors

• Proficiency in ASO tools and techniques for mobile platforms, including keyword research, metadata optimization, and A/B testing

• Expertise in visual assets for mobile stores

• Gaming experience

• A strong analytical and data-driven mindset, capable of interpreting complex data sets to develop actionable strategies

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams

• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Familiarity with mobile app store rules and mechanisms

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, computer science, or a related field

• Experience with generative AI
