Your daily responsibilities include:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.

  • Follow recipes to prepare and/or cook food to meet departmental standards or as directed.

  • Measure, convert and make recipe substitutions without affecting quality.

  • Work closely with Demi Chef to monitor culinary standards and operational guidelines including kitchen areas, food preparation activities and facilities.

  • Administer all aspects of food preparation ensuring kitchen is clean, well-stocked and problem-free.

  • Efficient preparation of all food related items based on established recipes and plating procedures for both batch and individual plated with attention to maintaining appropriate volume, quality, cleanliness and attractiveness.

  • Complete knowledge and understanding of kitchen equipment to include safe operations and regulation of temperatures for proficient cooking times and temperatures.

  • Proficient at soups, sauces, starches, thickeners and emulsifiers.

  • Perform the functions of any culinary task assigned within kitchen such as broiler, saut, wok and prep when needed.

  • Proficient in the butchery of all meats and seafood.

  • Must have extensive knowledge of Asian Cuisine.

  • Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.

  • Write prep list and take inventory.

  • Partner with culinary leadership to work as a team to ensure coordinated work flow during shift to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Exhibit excellent knife skills, classic cuts and sharpening.

  • Assist in operation of other food and beverage venues as needed.

  • Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed.

  • Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.

  • Properly maintains, cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas to meet departmental standards or as directed.

  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

  • Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements. This includes purchasing and wearing slip resistant safety shoes when performing all job duties.

  • Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.

  • Culinary or Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Three years related experience and/or training.

  • Knowledge of applicable food preparation methods and measures for assigned function

  • Ability to earn and maintain a current Food Handlers Card

  • Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license

VIEW JOBS 11/22/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-20T00:00 Your daily responsibilities include: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: * Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members. * Assist server with guests dining experience. * Complete any task assigned by dining room manager, chef, or supervisor * Responsible for clearing all table and resetting them for new seating in accordance with venue standards * Ensure each table is ready for guests arrival in accordance with venue standards * Responsible for approaching newly seated guests, serving bread, butter, water, etc. in a timely and pleasant manner working with servers to expedite service at all tables * Perform service duties for servers by picking up their orders when ready in the kitchen and delivering them * Monitor tables to assess guests' needs and anticipate and respond to guest requests when meal had been completed keeping table clear to provide a clean, neat, eating area * Restock and clean assigned station at the end of shift to have ready for start of next shift in accordance with Department of Health standards * Attendance at pre-shift meetings * Responsible for maintaining a regular and consistent attendance record * Participate as a team member with all servers, venue hosts, supervisors and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation * Declare tips through time and attendance system at the end of each shift * Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed. * Compile information, complete and submit reports as needed. * Adhere to all company policies and procedures. * Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations. * Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter. * Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
