About the Role:

The Aseptic Training coordinator plays a critical role in the overall quality of the Radioligand Therapies (RLT) platform. This role will serve as the production subject matter expert (SME) in aseptic processing, ensuring all Production and Packaging Associates are trained and fully understands the Novartis aseptic standards, techniques, and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the manufacturing leadership team to execute standard training processes that support the overall performance, safety, and quality of the Novartis MBN RLT facility.

Responsible for executing the Novartis aseptic behavior qualification program for new and current employees working in the manufacturing aseptic environment including Production, Packaging and cleaning staff.

  • Participates in new employee orientation facilitation by providing facility tour and stages 1-5 training.

  • Administers various components of training programs including tracking training progress, verifying assessments of new and current employees, assessing of the learning experience, and coordinating scheduled trainings to correct issues that arise.

  • Responsible for developing and implementing curricula, procedures, and pertinent documents to address the skills and behaviors required to ensure that the aseptic areas operate in compliance and owning and executing CAPAs for aseptic production training.

  • Performs routine walkthroughs of the aseptic production area ensuring proper aseptic techniques are being followed and provide feedback and coaching when needed.

  • Provide recommendations for improvements in the aseptic training program regularly in order to ensure Continuous Improvement loop.

  • Collaborates with Production Support, QA and QC to document changes to standard work processes and provides updated training materials to employees.

Role Requirements

Experience & Requirements:

  • Applicant must have at minimum a High School Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience as technical trainer in an aseptic environment.

  • Requires thorough/working knowledge of GMP's and ISO and expertise in aseptic/sterile processing. Must have demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

  • Must be able to take complex principles and concepts and break them down into teachable elements so colleagues can quickly understand.

  • Flexibility to don clean room garments and personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Near vision performance should be the equivalent of 20/20 with no impairment of color vision. The use of corrective lenses to achieve the desired visual acuity is permitted.

  • Makeup, jewelry, nail polish, perfume/cologne and other potential microbial sources are prohibited in restricted areas.

Pay transparency statement: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $118,400 and $177,600/hour; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23 fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
