The Aseptic Robot Operator is responsible for operation and maintenance of the Robot system on the Aseptic Production packaging lines. The Aseptic Robot Operator must know and become familiar with multiple machines, for example: Robots, roller bed conveyor mechanical systems, and electrical controls. The duties begin at the discharge of the elevator and go through the roller beds at the infeed to the stretch wrap. The Aseptic Robot Operator is also responsible for keeping the robots stocked with good pallets and other packaging material as needed such as slip sheets. This position is responsible for all quality linked to the installation diagraph labels, and case codes. Must effectively troubleshoot, perform AM (Autonomous Maintenance), PMs and minor maintenance based on skill level on all Robot and conveyor equipment. Must also maintain a clean and orderly work area, complying with all GMP and 5S requirements. The Aseptic Robot Operator is part of the line team which the Robot is tied to and will support as needed (Line Jams, Cardboard, Line Support, Etc.).
Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for operations to standards on the following: Infeed roller beds, Robots, outfeed roller-bed, pallet dispenser
Works as part of a team to deliver results as related to their area of responsibility.
Reports to the Business unit Supervisor to ensure all members of the DE crew are constantly improving and complying with CNP processes.
Carry out assigned AM/PM standards on all machines listed above.
Schedule and perform machine maintenance as required.
Train other employees on Robot operations as needed.
Create RedZone training videos as needed.
Ensures all paperwork and quality samples are documented correctly and accurately.
Conduct quality checks in accordance with CNP SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and takes corrective action.
Effectively trouble shoot, adjust, and communicate problem statements to supervisors, maintenance, and other team members.
Must maintain a work area that complies with all GMP and 5S standards.
Participate in improvement efforts.
Uses RedZone machine performance tracking and communication system.
Use and adhere to RedZone changeover reduction processes.
Keep all areas from the elevator to stretch wrap infeed clean and neat.
Always Follow Lockout/Tag out Policy.
Accurately document and maintain any critical parameters needed to efficiently produce quality product.
Accurately document and maintain any critical machine parameters, (i.e. Recipes and centerlines)
Manage and direct Temp Labor in your area.
Ability to read and interpret MSDS sheets.
Adhere to GMP's.
Must work in a manner supporting CNP policies, procedures, values, and behaviors.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
General mechanical skills a plus
Food Industry knowledge helpful
Demonstrated ability to follow instructions

Additional Compensation - Bonus Potential: You will be eligible to participate in the Gehl Food & Beverage Bonus Program for non-exempt employees. Under this Program, quarterly and annual bonus payouts are based on achievement of targeted production numbers. Gehl Foods, LLC reserves the right to change the Bonus Program at anytime, without notice.
Working Conditions: Frequently exposed to wet and varying temperature conditions between 60-130 degrees Fahrenheit, loud noise, vibration, moving machinery/electrical parts, risk of electrical shock, airborne particles, high/precarious places, toxic/caustic chemicals, allergens including soy, milk and milk by-products and fumes from food processing equipment.
