The Administrator is responsible for the administration and supervision of all medical personnel and is accountable to the Director of Operations for coordination of all medical care given and all related supporting services of the ambulatory surgical center and its personnel.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience required with a minimum of four years supervisory/management experience.

  • State RN license is required

  • ASC experience is highly preferred

Major Functions and Responsibilities:

The main function of the Administrator is that of leadership and promotion of cooperative staff effort. The Administrator is responsible for the allocation and completion of assigned functions in daily operations. She/He interprets departmental philosophy, objectives, policy and procedure.

Areas of accountability of the Administrator are outlined as follows:

  • Assistance to surgeons through provisions of adequately prepared service team members.

  • Delegation of responsibilities and duties to professional, technical, and ancillary personnel.

  • Responsibility for performance evaluation of all department personnel.

  • Coordination of administrative duties to ensure proper functioning of the staff.

  • Coordination of the provision and control of materials, supplies, and equipment with the Director of Supply.

  • Coordination of activity within the O.R. suite.

  • Risk Manager Designee.

  • Other responsibilities or activities as determined by the Director of Operations

VIEW JOBS 11/29/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-02-27T00:00 <strong>Job Purpose:</strong><br /> This position will provide project administration support to the Planning and Real Property Branch and Mission Support Product Line at Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit (CEU) to ensure specific requirements and goals identified in Executive Order Federal Real Property Asset Management, Planning for Federal Sustainability, the applicable CG Civil Engineering Program Annual Performance Plan, and the Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC) Business Plan are met.<br />  <br /> <strong>Responsibilities</strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Provide formatting, graphical, and editorial services to support Planning Team documents such as problem statements and planning proposals. </li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Update the Real Property and equipment database(s) in a timely manner.  Develop, adapt and populate a database(s) that is tailored to the informational needs of the CEU and MSPL.  Input all CG owned facilities within District One, and CG Enterprise into the CG Civil Engineering Program database.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Conduct information/documentation research.  Assist staff by analyzing documents for adequacy and accuracy.  Maintain office files, type letters, memorandums and reports from rough draft as required.  Conduct research as requested for planning projects, real property, and civil work inquisitions. </li> </ul>  <br /> <strong>Education and Experience:</strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Associate’s degree in business, management or requisite training in office technology, accounting, business mathematics, computer applications, business law, or contract administration training. </li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Must have access to the CG network and knowledge/experience using Real Property and shore infrastructure inventory databases. </li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office suite tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Access, Project).</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Knowledge and experience using Electronic Data Management Systems (i.e. Synergis Adept).</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Must have the ability and working knowledge to produce letters, project specifications, visual presentations, spreadsheets and e-mails communications with different government agencies.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently. </li> </ul>  <br /> Strativia understands that our staff is our number one asset.
