ABOUT THE ROLE

The Artist Relations Liaison serves as a vital link between the artist and the venue, ensuring the artist’s needs are met and that everything runs smoothly before, during, and after the performance. The role demands excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of the artist’s needs and how to navigate different personalities or demands.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the main point of contact between the venue and the artist/artist’s team (management, tour manager, etc.) on the day of show. This includes answering questions and addressing any concerns the artist or their team may have regarding the venue, schedule, or facilities.
• Ensure that the artist's hospitality rider (requests for food, drink, equipment, and other specific requirements) is accurately followed and fulfilled inside their assigned dressing room.
• Upon the artist’s arrival at the venue, the artist liaison welcomes them and ensures they’re escorted to the correct areas (dressing rooms, soundcheck, etc.), making them feel comfortable and taken care of.
• If the artist has VIP guests, family, or friends attending the event, the liaison may handle their entry and seating arrangements, providing them with passes and escorting them to the appropriate areas.
• Ensure that the artist stays on track with their schedule (soundcheck, performance time, meet-and-greet, etc.) and help coordinate transitions between activities.
• Handle any last-minute problems that arise—whether it’s equipment issues, rider problems, or something related to the artist’s comfort or safety. The liaison needs to act quickly and efficiently to resolve any situation.
• After the performance, the liaison ensures that the artist is debriefed and taken care of, that all needs were met, confirm transport arrangements, and offer assistance with any final requirements.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years experience preferably in artist relations, hospitality, festivals, production, or equivalent industry
• Experience with national/international touring acts, a plus
• Experience working with concerts and live music, a plus
• Willingness to work a range of events including concert, nightlife, corporate events, etc
• Must have a positive attitude and be able to problem solve while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Ability to work with a diversity of personalities, artists, clients, celebrities of all levels, etc
• Must be able to work long hours, including overnight

COMPENSATION

The hourly rate for this position will range from $25-$27.
