ABOUT THE ROLE

The Artist Relations Lead supports the Senior Artist Relations Manager, assisting with advancing and overseeing all green room and artist hospitality on show days. This role plays a vital part in creating a positive and professional environment for the artists, helping to ensure they feel cared for and focused on their performance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and fulfill the artist’s hospitality rider ensuring all items are ordered, stocked, and delivered to the venue in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the setup of the artist’s dressing room, ensuring it meets their specific requirements, from furniture and lighting to refreshments and any special items requested. Continuously monitor and refresh as needed and as requested.
  • Organize and coordinate any catering arrangements, ensuring the artist and crew have appropriate meals, snacks, and beverages before, during, and after the event.
  • Oversee the hospitality budget for the event, ensuring that expenses for catering, special requests, and supplies are kept within limits while still meeting the artist's needs.
  • Keep track of inventory used for artist hospitality and reorder items as necessary to ensure everything is stocked and prepared for future events.
  • Be the first point of contact for the artist upon arrival, greeting them and providing a tour of the venue as needed (e.g., where the dressing rooms, performance spaces, bathrooms, and VIP areas are located). You should make the artist feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave.
  • If the artist has VIPs, family, or special guests, they should also be well cared for and have proper access and hospitality per the artist request
  • Stay in close communication with the broader venue teams (production, security, operations) to ensure that the artist’s needs are communicated and prioritized and act as the liaison between the artist's team and the venue to make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with artists and their teams is key. A great hospitality experience often leads to repeat bookings and can help strengthen the venue’s reputation within the industry.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in Artist Relations and hospitality within a venue, festival, or touring environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with artists, management, and internal teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.
  • Attention to detail in executing hospitality riders and maintaining high standards of service.
  • Budget management experience to ensure hospitality expenses remain within allocated limits.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, particularly during live event operations.
  • Customer service-oriented attitude with a strong sense of professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to lift and move supplies as needed for artist hospitality setup.
  • Prior experience working in high-profile entertainment settings, large-scale events, or nightclubs, preferred.
  • Knowledge of artist hospitality best practices and backstage operations, preferred.
  • Familiarity with music industry protocols and touring logistics, preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management for hospitality and artist needs, preferred.
  • Understanding of venue operations and production coordination.
  • A network of industry contacts within the music and entertainment space, preferred.

COMPENSATION

The hourly rate for this position will range from $28-$30.
