Job Summary

Under the direction of the Site Administration, the Arts Teacher provides each pupil an appreciation of the arts and will inspire and nurture student's artistic abilities, foster a love for the arts, and integrate the California Arts Framework into a dynamic and inclusive curriculum. Provides instruction in the subjects required by the district and authorized by credential(s), utilizing course of study adopted by the Board of Education and appropriate learning activities, guides, textbooks, and other instructional materials provided by the district.

Requirements / Qualifications

Fluent and literate in English and Spanish Possession of a valid California credential appropriate to the position of the assignment. If not fully credentialed, the candidate must qualify for appropriate CTC permit in subject area and willing to enroll in credential program. Valid California Driver's License Must clear FBI / DOJ background check Must clear TB test
