The Kimball Art Center is looking for qualified, talented, part-time art instructors to teach visual art media workshops and extended classes to a variety of age groups (3 years of age - adults). Our art studios accommodate most media, however please be specific with space requirements and technical equipment requirements when submitting an application. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Teaching experience required.
Any of the following mediums are welcome: Painting (Acrylic, Oil, Watercolor, Plein Air), Drawing, Illustration, Digital Photography, Mixed Media, Encaustic Painting, Glass Fusion, Stained Glass, Ceramics, Jewelry, Fine Silver Smithing, Sculpture, Metal Working/Welding, Glass and Ceramic Mosaics, Printmaking, Textiles, Digital Art, Holiday specific classes, Craft classes or any other media related to visual art that can be facilitated in our studios
Deadlines and Important Dates:
Class proposals, descriptions, lesson plans, dates, materials lists and example images are due Saturday September 15 Please submit all content on the Kimball Art Center's website.
In mid october the classes are released online and registration capabilities are live.
Print release - Late october, catalogues in house to be mailed and start distribution. (PR begins with online release - we may ask you to join us on KPCW, come to PCTV or perhaps interview for the Park Record).
